Our mobile apps require a compatible smartphone model and operating system. Before you get started, let's make sure your device is compatible.
Note: To find the operating system on your Apple device, go to iOS Settings, General, and then About. For an Android device, go to OS Settings, About Phone, and then Software Information.
Each smartphone device is individually tested to ensure a consistent and secure connection with our pump. Smartphones that do not pass our qualification tests are marked as incompatible.
Important: If you use any other apps to manage your therapy, it is important to check the compatibility status with the respective app developers, before updating your smartphone’s operating system.
Compatible
Your device is compatible with the Tandem Mobi mobile app, which can fully control the Tandem Mobi insulin pump. You have the ability to perform all pump functions from the convenience of your phone.
Not Compatible
Your device is not compatible with Tandem Mobi. While we do not expect to offer device compatibility beyond select Apple configurations in 2024, we are working to expand support in the future.

Your device is compatible with all features of the mobile app. You have the ability to mobile bolus,* view pump data,† receive alerts as push notifications,‡ and wirelessly upload data.§
Limited
Your device is not compatible with the mobile bolus feature,* but you can view pump data,† receive alerts as push notifications,‡ and wirelessly upload data on the mobile app.§
Unsupported
Your device is not compatible with the mobile app. Please contact your distribution partner for more details. We are continually evaluating and working to expand device support.
