The senseless death of George Floyd has resulted in a rightful outcry against intolerance and racism in our country. I’m never sure what to say at times like this. It is not possible for me to fully understand the pain felt by our black community, and I cannot pretend to have all the answers. But I stand with our employees and our customers who are impacted by this and previous injustices.
We work hard at Tandem to support diversity and inclusion in our workforce and to encourage an environment where everyone feels comfortable being themselves, but we know this work is never finished. I pledge, on behalf of myself and the rest of our senior management team, that we will continue listening to our community and working hard to ensure that our company is not a place where racism can survive.
