Out of Range Alert on the t:slim X2 Insulin Pump

When you see the Out of Range (OOR) alert, your t:slim X2 insulin pump and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) sensor are not communicating. By default, this alert appears 20 minutes after the connection is lost, but you can adjust this time interval to suit your needs. This alert will continue to occur until the pump and sensor are back in range.

While the pump and sensor are disconnected, Control-IQ technology will continue to work for up to 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, the pump will revert to delivering insulin based on your Personal Profile settings until the sensor connection is established again or sensor readings resume.

Note: If sensor glucose readings are unavailable on your pump, check your blood glucose (BG) using a BG meter and treat low or high glucose as necessary. Do not ignore symptoms of high or low glucose.
