The Tandem Source platform is not intended for use as a remote monitoring tool for caregivers. Instead, it is optimized to wirelessly receive data from a Tandem Diabetes Care insulin pump and facilitate discussions with healthcare providers to identify trends and make necessary adjustments.
When paired with a Tandem insulin pump, your mobile app will securely upload your pump data whenever your smartphone is connected to Wi-Fi or if you permit cellular data usage. Data uploads to the Tandem Source platform do not happen in real time. To ensure uploads, it's important to keep the mobile app open on your smartphone.
