If you receive the Pump & IOB Reset Alarm on your Tandem Mobi mobile app, it means your Tandem Mobi insulin pump has undergone a reset, all insulin deliveries have been stopped, and the IOB (insulin on board) has been reset to 0 units. This alarm will also indicate on your pump, with both status lights blinking red three times in a row, which will repeat five times.
Note: Do not rely on the IOB amount displayed on your Tandem Mobi mobile app immediately after a pump reset, as it may not reflect IOB from a recent bolus or basal delivery. Consult your healthcare professional to determine how long you need to wait after reseting your pump before you can trust the IOB calculation on the screen. Additionally, do not depend on the Max Hourly Bolus Alert for 60 minutes following a pump reset.
The pump reset will not delete your pump settings. However, you will need to complete the following steps to resume insulin delivery and reconnect your continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) sensor session:
- Tap Dismiss to clear the Pump & IOB Reset Alarm
- Tap Actions and then Load Cartridge to complete the cartridge load process. You can reload your filled cartridge if it contains more than 30 units. Always disconnect the infusion set tubing from your site location before beginning the loading process.
- Tap Settings, CGM, Start Sensor, and then follow the on-screen prompts to restart or start your sensor session. The steps may vary depending on the type of CGM sensor used.
