Diabetes technology is evolving rapidly. With remote software updates, eligible users can access new features for their in-warranty Tandem Diabetes Care insulin pump eliminating the need to purchase a new device.
To be eligible, you must reside in the United States, have an in-warranty Tandem pump, complete any required training, and fulfill any other potential requirements. Some software updates may require a new prescription from your healthcare provider. If a prescription is necessary, Tandem will request it from your healthcare provider on your behalf.
You can check if your pump is in warranty and see if there are any software updates available for your pump under the My Pump section of your Tandem Source account. If your pump is out of warranty, we can help research your insurance coverage for a new pump.
