  • If your t:slim X2 insulin pump is in a case that covers the Screen On/Quick Bolus button, try removing the case and pressing the button again
  • Push the button several times with more force and using two fingers
  • Ensure that your insulin pump is charged

Power Source

We suggest using a charging cable from Tandem Diabetes Care for best success when charging your t:slim X2 insulin pump. We also suggest charging your pump for at least 15-20 minutes each day.

If your t:slim X2 pump will not turn on, plug it into a power source:

  • If the screen does not immediately turn on, the pump may have shut down due to low power. Leave the pump plugged in until the screen lights up. Do not press the Screen On/Quick Bolus button while you wait.
  • If the display immediately turns on, unplug the pump from the power source and confirm that you can access pump features (e.g., Options menu).

If the problem persists, stay near a power source so you can still access your pump menus and assist Customer Technical Support with troubleshooting.

Always refer to the user guide for important safety information and detailed step-by-step instructions on how to troubleshoot the Screen On/Quick Bolus Button on your t:slim X2 insulin pump.
