  1. Plug a Tandem USB cable into the micro-USB port of your t:slim X2 insulin pump and then connect the other end of the cable to a power source
  2. If properly connected, you should hear an audible alert and see a charge symbol (lightning bolt) on the battery level indicator of the pump
  3. Press and hold the Screen On/Quick Bolus button on the pump for approximately 30-40 seconds
  4. Release the button after the pump beeps or vibrates three times

To turn your t:slim X2 insulin pump back on, simply connect it to a power source. It may take up to a minute for the pump to turn back.

Note: All of your Personal Profile information and Dexcom G6 CGM transmitter ID will be saved while your t:slim X2 insulin pump is turned off, but your Insulin on Board (IOB) will not. When your pump is turned back on, you will need to load a new cartridge to resume insulin delivery. If you have an active CGM session on your mobile app when your pump is turned on, you should start a new CGM session on your pump after waiting 20 minutes. You do not need to enter your sensor code again.
