The t:slim X2 insulin pump is watertight to a depth of 3 feet (0.91 meters) for up to 30 minutes (IP27 rating).
The t:slim X2 insulin pump is not waterproof and should not be worn while in the shower, swimming, scuba diving, or during any other activities that could submerge the pump for an extended period of time. It should not be worn in hot tubs, whirlpools, or saunas, to avoid exposing the pump to high temperatures.
Note: Always disconnect the infusion set tubing from your site location and unclip the insulin pump before participating in any activities that could submerge the pump.
