The Dashboard screen on the Tandem Mobi mobile app displays the high glucose threshold, glucose target range, and low glucose threshold along with sensor glucose readings and blood glucose (BG) entries.
When the connection between the Tandem Mobi system and your smartphone becomes disconnected, information may no longer be displayed on the Tandem Mobi mobile app. You will see a gray shaded area on the graph instead.
Note: If sensor glucose readings are unavailable on your Tandem Mobi mobile app, check your BG using a BG meter and treat low or high glucose as necessary. Do not ignore symptoms of high or low glucose.
Tips to Reconnect
- Make sure that your Tandem Mobi insulin pump and smartphone are within five feet of each another without any obstruction (including parts of the body) between the two devices
- Turn the Bluetooth functionality on your smartphone off and on again
- Try force closing the mobile app and then launch it again
- Unpair the smartphone from your pump (Tap Settings, App, Paired Pump, and then tap Unpair) and follow the step-by-step instructions in the Pairing the Mobile App Quick Reference Guide to pair the devices again
If the connection is lost again, discontinue use of the Tandem Mobi mobile app and contact Customer Technical Support for additional troubleshooting.
