Pump Data is Not Uploading to Tandem Source with App Successfully Paired

Depending on how long it has been since the last time your Tandem Diabetes Care insulin pump data was uploaded, it can take anywhere from a few minutes or up to three days to complete your first upload via the mobile app. Since it uploads your oldest data first, it may appear as though the app is not uploading, but the mobile app is uploading data to the Tandem Cloud every hour.

Tandem Mobi System

The Tandem Mobi pump uploads data to Tandem Source via the Tandem Mobi mobile app. To ensure the mobile app continues to upload pump data, it's important to confirm that the mobile app is open, you are logged in to your account, and your smartphone has either a Wi-Fi or mobile data connection. The mobile app can be open in the background to continue data uploads.

Troubleshooting

  • Unpair the Tandem Mobi mobile app and pair it again. Be sure to have access to your Tandem Mobi charging pad to complete this process. For complete instructions on pairing your mobile app, view the Pairing the Mobile App Quick Reference.
  • If you are still experiencing missing data after pairing your mobile app again, uninstall and reinstall the Tandem Mobi mobile app

t:slim X2 Insulin Pump

The t:slim X2 insulin pump uploads data to Tandem Source via the t:connect mobile app. You can either wait until the mobile app is finished uploading or connect your pump to a computer via USB and upload using the Tandem Source Uploader. The Tandem Source Uploader can upload larger amounts of data in a shorter time, so we recommend using this method if you have not uploaded your pump data in a few days.
