The software update to version 6.6 (Basal-IQ technology) and version 7.6 (Control-IQ technology) of the t:slim X2 insulin pump allows you to deliver a bolus from your smartphone with the t:connect mobile app without having to touch your pump.
To be eligible, you must reside in the United States, have an in-warranty insulin pump, and complete an online training module on the Tandem Source platform about using the bolus feature.
Once you complete all preliminary steps, you can connect your insulin pump to a compatible computer and install the software update.
Note: New pump users will receive training on this feature during initial pump training.
