You must follow all steps closely. This can impact your ability to use the mobile app.

Tandem Mobi System
Enable Smartphone Security
- Go to Settings on your smartphone
- Tap Passcode. This could be Face ID and Passcode, or Touch ID and Passcode depending on your operating system (OS).
- To view options for creating a password, tap Passcode Options
- Turn on any of the options, then follow the onscreen instructions to complete setup
Disable Automatic Updates
- Go to Settings on your smartphone
- Tap General
- Tap Software Update
- Tap Automatic Updates
- Set Install iOS updates toggle to off
Enable Pump Alerts on Your Smartphone
Notifications must be enabled in two places: Your smartphone and within the Tandem Mobi mobile app.
On Your Smartphone
- Go to Settings on your smartphone
- Scroll down until you see the Tandem Mobi mobile app
- Tap the Tandem Mobi mobile app
- Tap Notifications
- Customize your settings to your preferences
- To choose when you want notification previews to appear, tap Show Previews, then select an option: Always, When Unlocked, or Never
On The Tandem Mobi Mobile App
- From the Navigation bar in the Tandem Mobi mobile app, tap Settings
- Tap Alerts & Sounds
- Tap App Notification Settings
- Toggle push notifications on
Turn Off Low Power Mode
- Go to Settings on your smartphone
- Tap Battery
- Set the Low Power Mode toggle to the “off” position
Disable Zoom Mode
- Go to Settings on your smartphone
- Tap Accessibility
- Tap Zoom, then turn the Zoom toggle to the “off” position

- Tap Screen lock type
- Tap the screen lock option you would like to use. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete setup.
Disable Automatic Updates

- Set Install iOS updates toggle to off
Android Steps
- Go to Settings
- Tap Software Update
- Toggle Auto download over Wi-Fi to off

- Tap Notifications
- Customize your settings to your preferences

- Tap Notifications
- Tap Included Apps
- Tap a type of notification
- Choose Brief, Detailed, or turn on settings to show even while screen is off to ensure all alerts are pushed to the phone lock screen
Turn Off Low Power Mode
iOS Steps
- Go to Settings
- Tap Battery
- Set the Low Power Mode toggle to the “off” position
Android Steps
- Go to Settings
- Tap Battery and Device Care
- Tap Battery
- Turn off the Power Saving mode toggle
Disable Zoom Mode
iOS Steps
- Go to Settings
- Tap Accessibility
- Tap Zoom, then turn the Zoom toggle to the “off” position
Android Steps
- Go to Settings
- Tap Display
- Tap Screen Zoom
- Drag the Screen Zoom bar to the left to turn magnification off.
