Tandem Diabetes Care Sponsors Project 50-in-50 Mountaineering Expedition
Tandem announced its sponsorship of Project 50-in-50, a mountaineering challenge by two climbers with type 1 diabetes—Michael Shelver and Patrick Mertes. To achieve their goal, Shelver and Mertes will need to summit the highest peaks in each of the 50 United States in 50 days or less. Only two individuals have accomplished this before, none with type 1 diabetes.

Tandem Diabetes Care Supports Connected in Motion as National Sponsor
Today we announced announced our sponsorship of Connected in Motion’s 2019 program calendar, featuring social and educational programing that builds community among people with type 1 diabetes. The funding will go to support Slipstream Retreats, adventure programs, and special projects in Ontario, British Columbia, the Yukon, and Alberta, Canada, including additional support for the Ontario Slipstream Retreat, hosted in partnership with Beyond Type 1.
