Control-IQ technology can stop basal insulin delivery if sensor glucose is predicted to be low. Control-IQ technology will automatically resume basal insulin delivery when glucose levels are predicted (within the next 30 minutes) to be above 70 mg/dL. You can still deliver a bolus while Control-IQ technology has stopped basal insulin.
In order to manually restart basal insulin delivery on your Tandem Diabetes Care insulin pump, you would need to turn Control-IQ technology off.
