The mobile bolus feature allows caregivers to request, cancel, or stop bolus delivery from the mobile app if:
- The Tandem Diabetes Care insulin pump is only paired to one smartphone
- The pump and the paired smartphone are in close proximity to each other
- The caregiver is an approved user on the paired smartphone
- The caregiver can verify their status as an approved user through smartphone authentication (e.g., passcode, Face ID, fingerprint recognition)
Note: The mobile bolus feature is only available on certain smartphone models and operating systems. To see if your phone is compatible with either the t:connect mobile app or the Tandem Mobi mobile app, refer to the Device Compatibility section of our website. Additionally, it's important to note that Tandem Source is not a tool for remote monitoring and cannot be used to deliver boluses.
